After over 50 years in the Construction Industry both on the tools and later through varying managerial roles for Project Home builders, I have dealt with all types of trades and trades people. Some were good and some not so good. Having also been involved with other roof restoration companies for projects for family in the past where there were some careless results and some questionable techniques involved, I was hesitant to even consider my own roof when it became overdue. After meeting with Paul and recognising that we shared similar Standards of Construction and were almost from a similar era I became more inclined to proceed and his very competitive quote would convince me to just do it.
As a perfectionist I have never given a 5-Star rating on anything, as I always believed there would always be room for improvement. However, Paul and Nick have both changed that. Their workmanship really was 5-Star Rated. My roof space remained a lot cleaner than those of previous roof restoration projects, neighbour’s houses and property were kept safe and the preparation and repair works prior to the initial sealing of the roof were meticulously completed. The quality of the 2 final coats of paint product was superb, both in the lustre of the finish and the technique of its application. The roof is now even better than when the tiles were brand new when we first built the house. The roof is a stand out amongst the surrounding roof tops that were done over recent years and only one other house down the street is as good. Ah! but that’s because it was done by Paul and Nick.
